The highlights of the project:
These few days in India will mark you deeply in a positive way, our real school exchange with India will allow you to visit the main historical sites and monuments in the area and above all, you will discover the daily life of an Indian family who will welcome and pamper you throughout the duration of the exchange. In addition to the activities at the Indian establishment that will open its doors to you, you will have the option of going to see and touch the Taj Mahal.
Our Strengths:
– Stay with motivated Indian families, selected carefully from the Indian school that you will attend
– Involve in the daily life of an Indian school
– Improve your English level with a non stop practice and get a certificate for the entire project
– Introduction to Hindi or the regional language
– Learn about the Indian cultures from the Milna Person, with you during the entire project
– Participation in many activities and discover the area in the afternoon and on weekends
– Even if your Indian family is not in New Delhi area, you will be given the option to book and add a visit to the Taj Mahal if you wish.
Safety:
– We follow strict safety instructions especially when the group is outdoors.
– We follow French regulations for the protection of minors and we respect local laws.
– One or more Milna Person are with the group for the duration of the project, reachable at any time.
Responsible traveler:
– We use the public transportation when available
– We favor the use of small/recent vehicles, fuel efficient, when the public transportation are rare
– We limit the group detritus to reduce the impact of the carbon footprint caused by this project.
Brevemente, il programma consiste in momenti di coinvolgimento nella scuola indiana insieme agli studenti indiani, solitamente al mattino. I pomeriggi sono dedicati alle visite, mentre le serate e i fine settimana sono trascorsi con la famiglia ospitante indiana.
Durante l’intero scambio, avrai l’opportunità di comprendere ciò che ti circonda, perché determinate cose vengono fatte in un certo modo, e ti guideremo nell’osservare i diversi aspetti dell’India e del popolo indiano. Alla fine, l’India avrà meno segreti per te.

– Un programma di scambio in India è possibile durante tutto l’anno, tuttavia, quando la scuola è in ferie, non è possibile accedere alla scuola. In tal caso, i momenti trascorsi nella scuola saranno sostituiti da momenti trascorsi con organizzazioni educative locali che hanno adolescenti di età simile. Per un periodo da 7 a 14 giorni, a seconda delle tue possibilità , la tariffa rimarrà la stessa indipendentemente dalla durata tra i 7 e i 14 giorni. Tuttavia, il programma sarà più intenso se decidi di optare per una durata più breve. (Vuoi una durata diversa? Contattaci)

– Milna aggiornerà i genitori con messaggi, foto e video giornalieri su un gruppo Whatsapp appositamente creato.
– Milna fornirà al partecipante e ai suoi genitori un numero attivo 24 ore su 24 per contattare qualcuno di Milna in qualsiasi momento.
Dove alloggerò? (Where I will stay?)
Ogni partecipante avrà una famiglia indiana con cui soggiornerà per tutta la durata dello scambio. Queste famiglie indiane sono selezionate da Milna e provengono dalla scuola indiana. (Each participant will have an Indian family with whom they will stay for the duration of the exchange. These Indian families are selected by Milna and come from the Indian school.)
Chi sarà la famiglia ospitante? Possiamo avere i suoi contatti? (Who will be the host family? Can we have his contact details?)
Alloggerete con una famiglia indiana in cui c’è uno studente della scuola indiana che frequenterete. Quello stesso studente indiano verrebbe a soggiornare nella vostra casa se potesse venire nel vostro paese. Riceverete i dettagli della vostra famiglia indiana prima della partenza. (You will be staying with an Indian family in which there is a student from the Indian school you will be going to. That same Indian student would come and stay in your home if he/she is able to come to your country. You will get the details of your Indian family before the departure.)
Chi gestirà il gruppo? (Who will manage the group?)
Oltre ai docenti, c’è sempre una o più persone Milna che gestiscono il gruppo dal suo arrivo in India fino alla partenza. La persona Milna è responsabile della cura del gruppo, garantendo l’applicazione del programma e la buona organizzazione generale. (In addition to the teacher(s), there is always one or more Milna Person who manages the group from its arrival in India until its departure. The Milna Person is responsible for taking care of the group, ensuring the application of the program and the good general organization.)
Quale lingua parlerà la famiglia indiana? (What language will the Indian family be speaking?)
In India, la popolazione parla una o più lingue indiane a seconda della loro posizione e delle origini (Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil…). L’inglese è la seconda lingua ufficiale del paese, sebbene le generazioni più anziane abbiano avuto meno esposizione all’inglese, la nuova generazione lo studia a scuola e lo pratica più frequentemente. In ogni caso, la vostra famiglia indiana parlerà inglese e talvolta avrà conoscenze più o meno importanti di francese, tedesco, spagnolo… Pertanto, se il partecipante avesse difficoltà con l’inglese, faremo del nostro meglio per sistemarlo/a in una famiglia che conosca una lingua comune con il partecipante. E sarà un’opportunità per il partecipante di migliorare il suo livello di inglese attraverso la pratica e utilizzando dizionario e altre traduzioni di Google.
(In India, the population speaks one or several Indian languages depending on their location and origins (Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil…). English is the second official language of the country, if sometimes the old generations have got less exposure to English, the new generation does study it at school and practices it more often. In all cases, your Indian host will be speaking English and sometimes will have more or less important knowledge of French, German, Spanish… Thus, if the participant has difficulty with English, we will do our best to place him/her in a family having knowledge of a common language with the participant. And it will be an opportunity for the participant to improve his level of English by the practice and by using dictionary and other Google translation.)

La famiglia indiana tende a offrire al partecipante le cose che desidera acquistare. Per non farli pagare per tutto, l’equivalente di 400 INR al giorno sembra sufficiente, a meno che non abbiate piani di acquisto consistenti. Milna vi offre la possibilità di ordinare rupie indiane e riceverle al vostro arrivo in India.
(The Indian family tends to offer the participant the things he/she wants to buy. In order not to let them pay for everything, the equivalent of 400 INR a day seems sufficient, unless you have substantial purchase plans. Milna gives you the option to order Indian rupees and receive them when you arrive in India.)
